Ground operations at a gliding club involve many people just to launch one aircraft. This video depicts a glider being taken out of its hangar and towed to the airfield where a student pilot and instructor prepare to launch.
This video was produced for the Southern Tablelands Gliding Club which does glider pilot training and joy flights for interested public.

A video production of winch launched gliding at the Southern Tablelands Gliding Club near Goulburn New South Wales. Heights of up to 2000 feet are reached by winch launching a glider in less than a minute. The club does joy flights and glider pilot instruction with the club owning three aircraft and various other member owned sailplanes flying out from the club’s airfield situated in an airport sized field outside of Goulburn.

A two hour drive south of Sydney or a two hour drive east of Canberra brings you to the popular coastal destination of Jervis Bay and its seaside towns. Jervis Bay is popular for whale watching tours during the spring and early winter and holidaying during the summer months. The bay protects against large waves making it perfect for young children but surfers can still find the surf on the ocean beaches nearby.

Monkeybrush Creative has started a new service; home video footage editing. We found some families have large stores of home video that never see the light of day after the footage has been shot. The more footage accumulates the more this condition continues. A way to use the valuable video footage is to have it edited creatively and compacted into easily distributable videos on a family video site on the net or on simple DVD. Your audience of course would be family, friends and even business associates.

Canberra to Coast

“Canberra to Coast” is a short video produced by Monkeybrush Creative for iBEAR TV to demonstrate full screen video display on a web site devoted to the visual arts as opposed to text and graphics.

While text and graphics is generally what is needed to impart written information, full screen display is most useful for visual artists like photographers and painters who have portfolios.

iBEAR TV will launch in January 2012 and will be something of a trial incorporating video and large images into a web site in a way that produces the sense of watching television from your browser. This concept will likely develop more fully over time particularly with the advent of Smart TV.

GroBoto 3D modeling

Found a new piece of 3D software called GroBoto. This software is a terrific way of creating models using geometry like spheres and other primitives but it tidies away all the extra mesh and joins it all together. This is but one exciting function in this amazingly priced package. GroBoto helps push 3D modeling further into the realm of 3D tools for the artist.

iBEAR TV News at 7 is set to launch sometime in 2012… maybe earlier according to Announcer Bear who will be the anchor for this web broadcast news service. iBEAR TV’s PR department says the station will also introduce a current affairs program late in 2012 or early 2013.

There’s a terrific 3D artist called Zamak who is quite popular at the moment for his wide range of robotic looking 3D models used in advertising and also simply as art. Zamak is a French advertising artist who has done something special with the robot theme to produce truly stunning renders of 3D robots.

Philip Barton is an accomplished poet of the ditty. We partnered up on the animation below to see what would happen. It’s not perfect technically but it was a lot of fun producing.

Animated video is great for commercials or infomercials on and off the net.

Monkeybrush Creative is planning expansion of services for its clients to include animated video in 2012.

We currently do corporate and organizational slide shows that can be either web based or DVD.

Video has been a strong medium on the Internet for a number of years and its popularity just keeps on growing.
