Wat Dhammadharo is the first Thai Buddhist temple in Theravada tradition in the ACT. It was established in 1992, later moved to its current location in Lyneham, and officially opened on January 23, 2000, by His Excellency the honorable Sir William Deane , AC, KBE, the then Governor General of the Commonwealth of Australia.
