Fashion Meets Ballet: A Behind-the-Scenes Look
Elegance in Motion
When Shekiralea Healy dances, it’s like watching a masterpiece unfold. Her movements are fluid, graceful, and captivating. As a dance instructor at Bom Funk Dance Studio in Queanbeayan, NSW, Shekiralea’s passion for ballet is evident in every step she takes.
A Collaboration of Creativity
To showcase her talent and style, Monkeybrush Films teamed up with Lucy Laurita (a renowned fashion designer), and Danielle Cleary Events. Together, we created a stunning video that captures the essence of Shekiralea’s artistry.
A Fashion Photographer’s Dream
Our project wouldn’t be complete without the incredible work of Steven Lloyd, a fashion photographer known for his ability to capture the beauty and dynamism of movement. Steven’s stills of Shekiralea, both posed and action-packed, will be featured in a forthcoming fashion magazine.
Behind the Scenes
To add depth and contrast to the video, we filmed Shekiralea during a training session. The raw energy and intensity of her practice provided a fascinating counterpoint to her elegant performance in the white dress. We also experimented with slow-motion footage to highlight the precision and control of her movements.
Kym Degenhart, the director of the studio collaborated with Monkeybrush Films to produce the above video.
